Student Concert VII (September 13, 2008)
Another amazing concert the students of Chico School Of Rock, Concert VII was a rousing success. We had over 15 soloists, three bands, and rowdy audience of family and friends numbering about 150…wow!
Thanks to Shelly and Jim from the Tea Bar for hosting the concert (beautiful spot), Dan Franden for stage hand and rock-dad, Brett Johnsen for sound and lights (and more recently, CSOR instructor #2!), and all the wonderful rock-parents who supported this event, and their children’s right to make music…the Chico School Of Rock couldn’t do it without all of you.
We’re all looking forward to the next show…

Student Concert VI (September 22, 2007)
The VI bi-annual Chico School of Rock concert was held at the Teaz Me Café in Chico on September 22, 2007. (we cant post all the shows, sorry!) Wow, what an amazing array of talent! We had everything from future Van Halens to song writing divas, to full bands. Sid extends a heartfelt congratulation to all his students, young and old, for the courage and dedication displayed at this rock-n-roll recital. The Teaz Me Café courtyard turned out to be a great venue, and we hope to be back for future concerts. Thank you to the wonderful folks at Teaz Me Café for the hospitality and great tea…thanks to Dan Goodson and Jet Fuel Only for all the help and wonderful music…thanks to all the long suffering parents for their patience and trust…thanks to Marirose Dunbar (www.myspace.com/madeska74) for the amazing pictures…thanks to Dan Franden for the stage managing assistance (it takes a village)… We’ll see you all at the next show! Sid’s Chico School Of Rock does it again, thanks to all the brave students! On October 14, 2006 over 40 students played their hearts out at Sid’s 2nd Student Concert.
